How I built my MVP for my startup: The Daily Roundup

My first user: Myself

I am really building this project around what I would actually use. So the question I continuously ask myself the following:

Starting development: The Requirements

I started off by creating a list of requirements necessary for my MVP. This included the following:

  • Functionality to send the email
  • Format all the content in a relatively nice-looking email
  • Collect the following data: news, Todoist tasks, motivational quotes and date
  1. Sign up for the Daily Roundup
  2. Customise it with their preferences
  3. Send the email daily following their preferences

The Technical Side

Used Python: simple, fast development speed, and I just find it very fun.
